*The U.S. Dream Team is on a roll and won’t be stopped anytime soon, it looks like.

In London on Thursday, the men’s Olympic basketball team blew out the competition in a faceoff against Team Nigeria. By the middle of the third quarter, the U.S. scored 100 points.

Top scorer for the team included Carmelo Anthony, who racked up 37 points, landing 10 of 12 3-pointers.

They ended the drubbing, er, game on top with a scathing 156-73 victory Thursday night.

A few Olympic records were broken: Anthony set the American Olympic record for points in a game – in fewer than three quarters. The team also showed off with highest number of points in a game and points in a half (78). The guys also pushed the U.S. record for 3-pointers, making 26 for the night.

It was an exciting night. Andre Iguodala sunk a 3-pointer at 4:37 left, passing the Olympic record of 138 points set by Brazil against Egypt way back in 1988.

Russell Westbrook had 21 for the night, Kobe 16, Kevin Durant 14.
